About Tomekia Lloyd
Minister | Marketplace Advisor | Intercessor | Daughter of Zion
Tomekia Lloyd is a servant of the Lord whose life reflects a sincere desire to walk in obedience to God’s will across every area of life. Raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, she was introduced to the faith through Old Zion Baptist Church, incorporated in 1919—a historic church faithfully attended by her family for generations. At sixteen years old, she was filled with the Holy Ghost, and at nineteen, she was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ within the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith. These early encounters with God became the foundation for her continued walk in Apostolic holiness and biblical truth.
With decades of Kingdom experience, Tomekia has served in a variety of ministry roles, including New Convert Care Bible Studies, Intercessory Prayer, Jail and Prison Ministry, and Altar Work. Her greatest burdens have been in intercessory prayer and deliverance, upholding the Truth of God’s inerrant Word, and in encouraging women of the Kingdom—specifically in the areas of salvation, personal holiness, and the sacred calling of nurturing their families and homes, which she believes to be a woman’s first and most vital ministry. She is the founder of Women of the Well, a group of Apostolic women who have bonded through their shared commitment to Christ and meet regularly for prayer, spiritual encouragement, and accountability.
Tomekia continually seeks opportunities for deeper biblical study, Kingdom mentorship, and spiritually edifying relationships to grow in understanding, sharpen discernment, and strengthen her walk with God. She values the wisdom found in fellowship with mature believers and remains a student of the Word—desiring always to be equipped for whatever assignment the Lord entrusts to her.
Professionally, Tomekia leads Lloyd Business Solutions, LLC, where she offers high-touch advisory services in accounting, tax planning, and strategic business guidance. She also operates Lloyd & Associates, LLC for other Kingdom-focused ventures. Her business work is an extension of her Marketplace Ministry—a calling to serve others in their professional and financial lives with integrity, wisdom, and stewardship, rooted in biblical principles. She especially enjoys supporting first-generation business owners and high earners as they build in unfamiliar but divinely appointed spaces.
Since 2005, Tomekia has been a member of the United Pentecostal Church International, Inc., where she met her husband, Tefferro Lloyd. They were married in 2006 and continue to raise their children in the Apostolic faith, striving to maintain a home grounded in holiness, prayer, and biblical instruction. Together, their family seeks to honor God in lifestyle and in practice, pursuing wellness of the mind, body, and spirit.
Tomekia’s interests include world history and culture, Hebrew and biblical cultural studies, Louisiana and family heritage, and French and Creole language studies. Her current studies are focused on understanding God’s original Kingdom design, seeking the rhythms, order, and principles of ancient biblical faith. She also finds joy and peace in the domestic arts, including gardening, cooking, and sewing, believing that home-centered disciplines are both spiritually restorative and personally enriching.
“Lord, as I stand at the crossroads and look, I ask for the ancient paths of your faith, where your good way is, your help to walk in it, so that I will find rest for my soul.” – Jeremiah 6:16
In all things—ministry, business, family, and learning—Tomekia endeavors to walk humbly, serve faithfully, and remain yielded to God’s leading. Her heart desires that her life would point others to the One who is worthy of all glory.
